I had the nicest experience at Kaufmann's jewelry store. I needed to have a small diamond replaced in my engagement ring, and after reading the wonderful reviews, decided to go to this beautiful jewelry store in the Pineapple Grove area of Delray. Monica, the owner, greeted and treated me like I was a long time customer. I explained what I was there for and that I had another ring that I never wore because I didn't like the setting. She suggested a single stone instead of the halo setting and offered to have some loose diamonds be brought into the store. I received my repaired ring today and then saw the beautiful diamonds Monica had sent to the store. I fell in love with one stone after seeing it in the store and outside at her suggestion. I can't wait to see my ring and know that it will bring a smile to my face when I wear it. I would highly recommend Monica and her store to my friends and family and look forward to being a long time customer at such a welcoming establishment.

Her immediate reaction was not to replace but restring my favorite. When I picked it up today it was as beautiful as the day I purchased it in Germany 24 years ago. This jewelry store is by far LEAGUES better than any Kay, Pandora, or Jared you'd ever visit. You're doing yourself a disservice if you choose those name brands over Kaufman. I was in the market for a very specific ring for someone special to me and searched around major retailers like Jared and Kay, but they couldn't meet my expectations. I've had too much of a vision for this piece of jewelry, and it would be a disservice to just "buy" something that already exists in someone else's hand. I needed to create this ring; it needed to be unique and one of a kind, something as special as the person receiving the ring. So I sought out Kaufmann de Suisse Jewelers and asked if they could assist me with a custom ring I drew and sketched up. Monica eagerly accepted the challenge and sat down with me to conceptualize and draw the ring with me, showing me what worked and doesn't work. After some production time, I received one of the most beautiful rings I've ever laid my eyes upon, and that's all thanks to Monica. She was able to instruct me on what was possible and what isn't feasible in terms of jewelry creation, and guided me throughout the whole process. Seriously, this place is top tier. If you guys want to create jewelry that's special to you and extremely high quality for a damn good price, this is the place to go. I'll absolutely come back here if I want to make any more custom jewelry for either myself or other people in my life. Monica, you have been an absolute God-send throughout this process. Thanks for being such a team player and so on board with my drawings for the ring! 5/5 stars is an understatement for what this business truly deserves.

After spending many vacations in the Zurich area and admiring the beautiful jewelry in the shop windows along the Bahnhof Strasse, I was thrilled to discover the Swiss jewelry store in Delray Beach. My first visits to the store were simply to change the clasps on my necklaces to magnetic ones, as I was having difficulty with the small, delicate catches. I was surprised that Monica agreed to “take on” such small projects, but I soon discovered that even though the charges were minimal, I was treated as though I was purchasing a diamond necklace. Recently I took a piece of jewelry that my husband had given me years ago to Monica. I love it and have worn it for years, but felt it was time to “enhance” the look. I explained my intentions and Monica designed a new look while keeping the original piece intact. When I first saw my necklace, I was overwhelmed by the result. I walked into the store hoping they could repair a pair of earrings. Monica was very warm and welcoming as soon as I set foot in the store. She assured me the earrings could be fixed within a few days and she delivered them as promised. The price for the repair was reasonable. I told Monica about a white gold necklace I had and how I wanted to reset the whole in thing in yellow. She told me there was a less expensive option to dip the entire thing - diamonds and all - in yellow gold. She was very clear that this wasn't a permanent solution but could last up to a year or so and if I wasn't happy with the end product they could buff off the yellow gold. The necklace is there now. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. I appreciate Monica's suggestions and her laid back, no pressure suggestions. The jewelry in the store is beautiful and it sounds like everything can be customized. I'm so glad I found Kaufmann de Suisse and that Monica is carrying on her father's legacy here in Delray.
